Little Blue Flowers Original Flower Painting

'Little Blue Flowers' is an original piece of artwork that has created using acrylic paints, pen, ink & handmade stamping.

I have painted this piece of artwork by hand, using some of my favourite techniques! The background combines a range of brightly coloured shapes, where I have brushed bright acrylics onto the surface before imprinting geometric shapes using tools, handmade stamps and pens. I love combining simple circles & lines in different formations to create pattern, detail and pops of colour, making my artwork truly unique. After creating the background, I added a white vase using acrylic paint, before using my tools to scratch lines into the pot, adding pattern & texture. The flowers were then painted using a range of brushes, inks, stamps and pens. I love the semi-abstract nature of the 'little blue flowers' and how they fizz with energy with their bright yellow centres, hence the name for the painting!
