Welcome to my website!

I am a Mixed Media Artist, based in rural Leicestershire, UK, where I live with my husband, daughters and wire-haired dachshund, Oakley.

I am inspired by the nature I see around me & love adding my own twist by portraying my own outlook on the world. Through the use of bright colours, shapes and patterns, I want to spread joy and reflect what I see from my own perspective.

I work with a mix of media, from acrylic paints and inks which I use as a staple in my paintings, to pens and pastels, which I use to add details. I also experiment with lots of mark making tools which I use to scratch into layers of paint, producing pattern and texture which is sometimes unexpected. In a lot of my work, I also use recycled papers and fabrics to give them a new life in a painting, rather than being thrown away.
