Five White Circles Original Flower Painting

This is a beautiful abstract painting of a vase of flowers that is full of bold colours and energetic mark making.  It is a delightful, fun and lively picture that would make a lovely gift, perfect for bringing a pop of colour and personality to your home.

The colours have been chosen to give striking contrasts within the artwork that create light and drama.  I have used a variety of colours that help to achieve this effect, including fluorescent orange, red and dark blue.  Simple mark making tools have also been used to scratch into the paint in order to create increased interest and take your eyes around the artwork. In addition to this various different tools have been used to stamp paint onto the painting to create differing shapes and textures.  Pen and pencil have also been used within the picture to enhance the detail of the artwork.

This is truly a unique piece of artwork designed to show the emotions I feel when looking at a particular vase of flowers, and how I see it in contrast to the surroundings in which it was set.  The style of painting has been kept simple but the choice of colours give the artwork energy and impact.
