A landscape painting, full of texture!
A Spring Walk
Like all of my paintings this is a ‘one of a kind’ artwork that portrays the drama of the British countryside not by painting a picture that looks like a photograph but from the memories and feelings of a place. This painting gives an energetic feel to it with the differing shades of blue, purple and yellow.
I have created this painting using various items of mixed media. There is texture, not just in the way I have used the paint, but also there is the addition of textured fabrics in the painting giving added drama and a 3D feel to the painting and helping you to feel what the day actually felt like. Lines drawn in pencil also help you to be drawn to the painting. This is a beautiful painting ready to hang and ideal for bringing a sense of the outside into any room in your home.
